WHAT IS UWC? The UWC is an association formed by world artists. WHAT DOES THE UWC DO? * UWC organizes international cartoon contests. / * The UWC selects jury members for cartoon contests. * The UWC organizes international cartoons exhibitions. / * The UWC organizes international events. * The UWC organizes international symposiums. / * The UWC provides cartoon training in the cartoon school within its agencies. * The UWC organizes interviews with cartoonists around the world. / * The UWC publishes a 3-month cartoon magazine consisting of members’ cartoons. * UWC 1461 members in more than 100 countries. / * Currently there are UWC representatives in 41 countries. * UWC is the union of international cartoonists. One person per country can be a UWC Representative. Other cartoonists in that country gather around the UWC Representative. All UWC Representatives are affiliated to the UWC Advisory Committee. The UWC Advisory Committee manages UWC activities. UWC’S MISSION:
To bring world artists together with exhibitions, events, symposia, caricaturies contests, printed publications and congress. UWC’S VISION:
To bring the cartoonists of in the world together and to enable them to interact with each other.
To publish the works produced by cartoonists from all over in the world.
